Care & Services

What services will you offer?
Humane kennel boarding will be provided with 24/7 on-site staff, daily walks, optional yard time, and individualized care plans.
Will staff be on-site overnight?
Yes. Staff will be on-site 24/7, including overnight hours.
What will your staff-to-dog ratio be?
The planned ratio will be up to 10 dogs per staff member to ensure proper supervision and care.
Will dogs receive exercise and outdoor time?
Yes. Dogs will receive daily walks, with optional yard access and socialization based on temperament and owner preference.
Will you accept dogs with behavioral challenges?
Yes, dogs with behavioral challenges may be accepted on a case-by-case basis under enhanced safety and care protocols.

Transparency

Will I be able to see my dog while boarding?
Remote camera access may be offered to provide owners with visibility and peace of mind.

Facility Standards

What will define a humane kennel?
A humane kennel will be designed to include clean, spacious enclosures, routine sanitation, proper ventilation, essential amenities, and adequate space for dogs to rest and move comfortably.

Owner Requirements

For each dog, owners will be required to provide:

  • Current vaccination records
  • Daily routine and behavioral notes
  • Breed or mix, size, and age
  • Spay/neuter status
  • Veterinarian name and phone number
  • Emergency contact information
  • Food type, feeding schedule, and portion sizes
  • Medical conditions, allergies, or medications (if applicable)

Vaccination Policy

Dogs will generally be required to be current on:

  • Rabies (as required by California law)
  • DHPP/DAPP
  • Bordetella
